hi there. i guess both posts are out of date ... first should be true at early 19th and secon could be true(!) if those dumbs didnt vote for this dumb two month ago !!
Hi! No one ever said arabic etc are terrorist languages... Islam in the hands of those crazy people supports terrorism. Terrorism not only in an international level, they way we've seen it lately, but in a more national context.
Take this for eg. you are in a western country being able to study and live free there... how would it be for me if i wanted to come to your country? Would they let me go out without my veil? No, but here, in what is called "western world" people's rights and choices are respected at least by law.
Terrorism is in the hearts of those who are afraid to take their lives in their own hands.. are people in Iran ready to do that?
I believe it's nothing to do with Islam it's those who use Islas as a cover and there are some simple people believe in what they say.it's just politics.Jenny one thing thoug,so you would like to go to Iran and putting a veil is the stopping cause,right?even if it was though to religion you should respect the culture of your host country,don't you think so?most of the people who visit Iran will be amazed by the vast number of things to see that putting a veil on wouldn't be a big deal.

If you are interested to follow some western mentality about the Moslem world all together, give a little visit to Kira Zalan blog [http://www.kirazalan.net/]. I don't agree with her opinions in many areas including those who leave messages, but it might be a help to you and your research.
